This page is mostly to state general information and what’s different regarding the human species in the world of Cadavard.
|
The human is an odd-looking primate and the most social primeval. They're primarily known for their tool use, technology, and their massive environmental changes.
Humans are spread out globally and it does as real life: Muddy the genes. There's no longer any population of them that's completely isolated enough for genetic distinctions to form. Races and phenotype don't count for subspecies. Modern humans are the only surviving homo sapiens subspecies in real life. In Cadavard, humans are scientifically known as Homo technologicus.

Body & Mind
A large majority of humans have a preference for body modifications such as cyberwares and biowares. Since one can alter their genetics, you can basically become “anyone.” Most of the population has gotten open to dealing with mental illness, deformities, body disorders, and the likes. Being ""different"" isn't something to hide or be ashamed of. Ailments judged to be debilitating such as dementia and rheumatoid arthritis, as examples, can be dealt with genetically - for the right price of course.
Relationships & Identities
Wearing clothes is common, but nudity isn’t uncommon. Since both kyno and human societies have adapted to nakedness over the eons, males and females may walk around topless without worries. Due to the wide variety of genders and sexualities, many sapiens (not just humans) have adapted to neutral terms and neutral places. Humans, however, have made a bigger deal of this topic due to a higher number of intolerance and misunderstanding in the past. They're also a species that can be quite focused on appearance at times.
Humans can be monogamous, polyamorous, casanovas, hook ups, and prostitution. Just like the dyre and vledax, humans can enjoy sexual activities year-round. In the 2000s, genetic alterations allowed women to change their birth cycle. A woman usually give birth to a single baby, yet there are cases of twins and rarer cases of more. Cross-species adoptions, mainly of dyres, are common.

Life cycle
They retain the same life cycles as reality with the exception of living some hundreds of years more due to genetic engineering.
Baby - Birth to year 2
Kid - Year 2 to 13
Teenager - Year 13 to 18
Adult / Elder - Year 18 to Hundreds years
